Many of our Textbooks are available as rentals. Check your book list to find out if any of your books are available to rent.

If the book you need is available to rent, visit the Bookstore and ask if that book is in stock. All rentals are located behind the register so you’ll need to speak to the clerk to find out. If the book is in stock, you can rent it by filling out a rental agreement. The agreement says…

As a currently enrolled student at Martin Luther College, you have chosen to enter into an agreement with the Martin Luther College Bookstore to rent the books indicated above. This loan agreement is for the first semester of the 2018-19 school year. Your signature below signifies that you agree to the following terms:

1. You agree to return the book(s) in clean, lightly marked, and fully resalable condition on or before the rental due date, or within one week from withdrawing from school if you withdraw early.

2. You agree to allow the MLC Bookstore to charge your student account for the amount of a new replacement textbook if the rental item is not returned by the due date, or if it is returned damaged and/or deemed unsalable by the Bookstore Manager.

3. Any rental contract entered into after the drop/add period is non-refundable. Please note:  No books will be rented to anyone with outstanding costs not paid from previous rentals or bad checks written to the college.
